On this day Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji, for the first time rode in his car with white triangular flag flying on it and visited all the historical places of religious importance including Akal Bunga in Sri Bhaini Sahib and started his journeys after performing supplicatory prayer i.e. Ardas. And paid his maiden visit to Ludhiana-Jandiala (Jalandhar) and back to Sri Bhaini Sahib.

In June of 1976 Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji pays visit to UK. In hold of a severe drought in August the newspapers of U.K. published news with headlines mentioning Satguru Jagjit Singh as Rainmaker and Rain – God. The worst ever drought in England and Wales in last 500 years was predicted and there was no chance of rain in the near future. With the blessings and prayers of Sri Satguru Ji, it started raining on 27 August 1976, much to the relief of British authorities and people.

Laid foundation of World International Peace Conference Hall in Bangkok in the presence of representatives of 48 countries. Dr Suchaat invited religious heads from 22 countries in November 1978 at the time of laying the foundation stone of Peace Temple. The visiting religious heads brought with them the soil from their respective countries which was added in the foundation of the temple. It was a moment of great pride for we Indians when Sri Satguru Ji laid the foundation stone of the Peace Temple.

By-pass Heart surgery of Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji was performed by Dr. I.K.Ross at Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia. Four conditions put by Sri Satguru Ji were strictly observed (i) No hair cut to be done on His Holiness body, (ii) No spirits to be used before, during or after the operation done, (iii) No blood transfusion (iv) Only male nurses shall attend His Holiness.

In 1992 the Namdhari Kala Kendra emerged with the hukam (order) of Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh ji at Sri Bhaini Sahib. Sri Satguru Pratap Singh ji wanted Raagi’s to perform the ‘Kirtan’ in the Raagas as it is mentioned in the Sri Adh Guru Granth Sahib and in the same manner was performed in times of the earlier Gurus. The tradition is continued in the presence of Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji. Namdhari Kala Kendra is a totally free setup and is run in the manner of traditional Indian Gurusisyaa parampara, The student eventually masters the knowledge that the guru embodies. 9 April 1994 - Under the patronage of His Holiness, World Punjabi Conference (Regd.) held in Sapru House, Bara Khamba Road New Delhi. FROM 3 to 6 February 1994 - The 7th World Religious Conference was organized by Maharaj Rajinder Singh in New Delhi. His Excellency Dalai Lama presided, and Sri Satguru Ji attended it as the Chief Guest.

In January 1997, Research Scholar Jaswinder Singh sent to Burma by His Holiness for finding out the places where Satguru Ram Singh was kept during his confinement. Also: in 1997 the Completion of 3rd series of Paaths & 4th series of Paaths started and the Satguru Ram Singh Chair was established in Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. In the same year, Sri Satguru Ji is honoured in Parliament House of UK by Hon’ble Swaraj Paul, member House of Lords UK. From 19-21 July 1997 under the patronage of His Holiness Sri Satguru Ji 5th World Punjabi Conference (Regd.) organized in Milwaukee (USA). On 3rd August 1997 Sri Satguru Ji paid visit to Swami Narayan temple, Neasden, England. and on 24th August 1997 Satguru ji inaugurated the Modern International School in Bangkok.

On 28 March 1999, Sri Satguru Ji led the 35 km long procession of Namdhari Sikhs to Anandpur Sahib on the occasion of Third Centenary of birth of Khalsa. S Parkash Singh Badal Chief Minister of Punjab received and welcomed Sri Satguru Ji at Anandpur Sahib. Head Priest presented Saropa to Sri Satguru Ji. Also in 1999 His Holiness participated in the Kar-Sewa of Durgiana Temple, Amritsar. and the Namdhari Guru Ram Singh Chair established at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar were S Parkash Singh Badal CM welcomed Sri Satguru Ji. On 1 August 1999 representatives of Sri Satguru Ji participated in the Council for Parliament of World Religions at Cape Town, South Africa.

In June 2000 Sri Satguru Ji sent a contingent group of Namdhari Sikhs to visit Maynmar (Burma) to locate the places of confinement of Sri Satguru Ram Singh Ji. From 28 to 31 August 2000 His Holiness participated in the Millennium World PeaceSummit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders held in UN General Assembly Hall, New York. USA.

In December 2008 with blessing of Satguru Ji, the Kuka Movement finally got the status of freedom fighters after more than 150 years, when union government recognised their contribution to freedom struggle. On 22nd December 2008 The Indian prime minister unveiled a portrait of Satguru Ram Singh Ji in the parliament of India. His holiness Sri Satguru Jajit Singh Ji graced the occasion.

2009 > Portrait of Satguru Ram Singh Ji and six other dignitaries unveiled in the Central Hall of Parliament by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. His Holiness Sri Satguru Ji with hundreds of Namdhari Sikhs graced the occasion. Hon’ble Abdul Hamid Ansari Vice President of India, Speaker Sri Som Nath Chatterjee, Sri L K Advani, Leader of opposition, Ministers of Central Government and Hon’ble MPs were present. These portraits are placed in Parliament House Museum in Library Complex.

During the Asu Mela 2011 His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji endorses the release of PARAM PRATAPI PRATIMAVLI - A photographic Journey of Sri Satguru Partap Singh Ji. In this mela HH Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji presided during the official openning ceremony of Satguru Ram Singh Miniature Theme Park: Kuka-Sangram. In December of this year His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh opened the Sri Satguru Partap Singh Vidyalla library in Sri Bhaini Sahib.
