Ustaad Dharambir Singh performed a recital on the sitar. He was accompanied on the tabla by Tarsem Singh. In his first solo performance at the Namdhari Sikh Community Center, Dharambir paid gratitude and homage to Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji&#8217;s great effort and devotion to revive and maintain the gurmaat sangeet as practised by the earlier Sikh gurus. The evening started with an hour of Naam Simran followed by a shabad, performed by Raagi Jagir Singh (with Ustaad Kiranpal Singh on tabla). Before the main presentation, Shaam Kaur introduced the two artists to the congregation.
